Alan Flavelle | GPP Consultant – Project Technical Advise

From 1958‑1970 Alan was employed as a geophysicist and exploration expert in oil, working in all states of Australia, New Guinea, Canada and the USA. Then in 1971‑1980 Alan worked for the Layton Group becoming the senior partner, at that time Layton Group was the largest earth science consulting group based in Australia, and worked on projects in Australia, New Guinea, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, India, USA and Argentina.

1981‑present: Alan has worked as an independent consultant, resource developer and adviser to companies at the technical director level.

Alan was formerly Chairman of Directors with Greenpower Energy and now continues to provide ongoing resource, technical and market advice to Greenpower.

Matt Suttling | Company Secretary and CFO

Matt is a Chartered Accountant in Public Practice providing accounting and secretarial services to listed companies and other enterprises large and small. He has practiced in the corporate mining and commercial sectors for many years providing corporate and management accounting, IPO, financial modelling and resource related work.

He was formerly a Senior Manager in a large Sydney accounting practise within the business services division, where he worked with a diverse client portfolio ranging from public companies to charities to large family businesses, providing audit, tax and other business services. During this time he was responsible for a 30 member team reporting to four Partners, had a secondment to the New York office and was responsible for reviewing, migration and assisting in the development of the internal financial and management reporting systems.

Matt graduated B. Ec. from Macquarie University, and completed the qualification requirements of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia in 1996.

John Watts | Exploration and Tenement Consultant

John Watts graduated B.Sc. majoring in geology, with honours, from the University College of Wales at Aberystwyth in the United Kingdom, in 1968. Arriving in Australia that year, he commenced employment with the Bureau of Mineral Resources, being dispatched from Canberra to the Northern Territory. From 1970 to 1977 he worked for private resource groups, mostly on site. In 1977 he commenced as a consultant geologist in Western Australia. Then in 1980 John joined McKay & Schnellmann Pty. Ltd. as principal geologist and director, remaining in that role till 1999, and travelling throughout the world on assignments. Since then he has continued resource consulting with various groups.

David Trench | GPP Consultant

David has over Thirty Years of broad acre Industrial and Commercial experience with extensive engineering, sales & marketing exposure to Oil & Gas, Minerals & Mining Industries, Water and Waste Water, Power & Utilities, Renewable Energy, Military, Transportation and Security, Industries.

Early in David’s career, as an Instrumentation Engineer, he worked underground in the Coal mining sector undertaking asset optimisation programs; from there he has worked in Europe Directing an Australian IT company, Asia directing Communications and Remote Automation businesses and back in Australia Managing Operations for Shipping and Power stations. His recent career includes an Executive role for a multi-national mining company and lead of an autonomous hazard management company.

David has evolved enterprise skills within these sectors focusing on domestic and international Executive Management, mentoring and developing teams in project pursuit and execution, leading projects across Greenfield and Brownfield developments. He has created, managed and revitalized Business units in sales, support, technical and engineering fields.

David is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Mount Eliza Business School programs, formal background in Instrumentation, Automation and Process Control. David is the Chairman of the Defence Reserves Support Council for Western Australia and a member of the National Council for Defence Force Reserves, Chairman of the Clean Technology Council and Director of Ochre Energy;
